EMMA - Azendo Beauty Lounge

Salon manager, beauty therapist, brow FANATIC & owner of Azendo Beauty Lounge.
I kick started my beauty career straight from leaving school back in 2007, and I have done a number of additional courses over the years to fine tune my skills.
​
Being a perfectionist and having an eye for detail has definitely helped me along the way!
​
On top of a passion for all things beauty, it was always a vision of mine to run my own business.
​
I became self employed back when I was only 20, and have spent the last decade working hard to gain & maintain the best clients that I could ever wish for. It’s definitely stressful running a salon, and extremely tiring doing the hours that we do, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
My clients have become more like friends & family to me now, and there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t love my job!
Thanks to all our amazing clients old and new who have continue to support us over the years. This last year, more so than ever!

Amy G. - Adora Lash and Brow Studio

Lash technician & owner of Adora Lash & Brow studio, based at Azendo Beauty Lounge.
My passion for eyelash extensions started back in 2013, & since then, I have completed various courses with leading lash companies, to advance my lash technique to the highest possible level.
​
With a passion for hard work and a great loyal client base in my home town of Swansea, 2016 was the year to take the plunge and become a self employed lash tech in the salon I was currently working from.
​
After two very successful years, the time came to completely relocate and put my roots down.
I made the leap from my hometown in Swansea and I am now happily settled here in the North East.
​
After a crazy 12 months now behind me, including a massive relocation, buying a new home, my first pregnancy, COVID forcing my business to close, and then arrival of my baby girl in August 2020, I’m ready to start the next chapter of lashing and excited to head in 2021!

Amy M. - Blades and Needles

Body piercer and owner of Blades and Needles, based at Azendo Beauty Lounge.
Outside of work I spend my time being a girlfriend, cat mam, ice hockey player, bath salt creater, good vibe making, incense burning, & overall being a bundle of positivity!
​
I love nothing more than spending my days off wrapped up down the beach with a nice coffee in hand, or choosing the next country to tick off my bucket list.
​
I moved to Azendo Beauty Lounge in September 2020 after I decided the stereotypical cold, clinical and kinda scary piercing studio just wasn’t my vibe.
​
Because why can’t piercings be beauty?!
​
You’ll find my room filled with cactus, sweetie jars, relaxing zen music (most of the time!) and I can guarantee you’ll feel at ease.
​

Sarah - Sarah Louise Hair Extensions

Hair extension specialist & owner of Sarah Louise Hair Extensions, based at Azendo Beauty Lounge.
Sarah, owner of Sarah Louise Hair Extensions. Also mother of a teenage daughter & a wild 4 year old son.
​
Most of you who have met me in the salon will know I fully rock the “Mam bun” and no make-up look, & that I live by the saying “I look like this so you can look like that!”
​
My 8am starts in the salon, and organising two kids on a morning before I leave the house for my usual 10hr+ days, doesn’t leave my much time to pamper myself before I come in and pamper all my clients!
​
So don’t be fooled by my selfie!
